What We Do
This is a community for film making in GTA. It's not a normal crew for playing the game. Of course you're not forbidden from doing that sort of thing with other members, but this is about the creation of projects. If you're after a crew for doing heists, racing, death matches etc then there are plenty out there. We will collaborate and discuss on film projects, short or long, as well as assist film makers with their projects.
What We Don't Do
This is a community, we're here to help one another and enjoy film making in GTA. We are not here to bully, discriminate, humiliate or mock. Some people will not be experienced in making movie clips and we were all there once. Be kind, be helpful, be constructive where someone asks for criticism. Racism, sexism, homophobia or any other form of discrimination will not be tolerated, nor will abuse. If someone is trolling, report it and leave it for the staff, don't get involved.
It's worth remembering that this is based on GTA, if you're offended by profanity or violence you'll just have to cope, because the game is full of it, so language won't be moderated for this reason.
And we don't plagiarise. Of course you may be inspired to create something because someone has had a similar idea, but let's not recreate content verbatim and don't steal ideas from a project in discussion and try to create it yourself.
How We Work
It's a community not a dictatorship. The staff will post events where we feel it suitable, but this won't be the only way to get involved. It's up to the members how to run things. Post a casting call, put up ideas, work with the community. If you want help editing, ask. If you need an actor of a certain type, ask. There are, and will be spaces to hopefully accommodate all your needs, if there isn't, ask the staff. Be aware that if you're new, you may need to get involved with other projects before you will get many people committing to yours, but hopefully this will be reciprocated. We can all help one another.
Crew Rules
There aren't any really. Some are detailed above. There's no need to be deferential to the staff, there's no obligation to wear crew colours or badges, there are no crew vehicles or anything that you need to have. Ideally you'll get involved with the projects, but even if you just want to lurk and learn from others, that's absolutely fine.
I pretty much speak only English, with a smattering of other European languages, so all posts on here need to be in English so I can moderate. In game, speak whichever language suits the moment.
Anything else?
There might be, but that's down to members, this will hopefully grow and evolve with the people getting involved.
